About NEMFC
The New England Mobile Fit Clinic bridges gaps in cancer care, improves access, and enhances the quality of life for cancer patients in VT, NH, ME, and MA. The mobile unit offers properly fitted bras for post-mastectomy and lumpectomy patients; breast prostheses, lymphedema products and high-quality wigs for patients experiencing hair loss due to chemotherapy. It is a compassionate and practical solution that addresses the unique challenges faced by those in remote areas.
New England Mobile Fit Clinic was founded November 2024; however the concept was introduced to the community in 2022. With over twenty-five providers of post-mastectomy products closing in the last several years, breast cancer survivors have limited access to products and the need to help breast cancer survivors is growing. In the last 2 years, 257 breast cancer survivors have been fitted with 933 products via this mobile fit clinic program.

Restore the personal image and confidence of breast cancer survivors in underserved New England communities through a mobile fit clinic.
Our Purpose
Remove obstacles breast cancer survivors face in getting needed products by providing the ability for them to be fitted with breast prosthesis, surgical bras, compression garments and scalp protheses/wigs.
